Mulling over the ever-rising contamination level on our Earth, the respiratory face mask will soon turn into an essential item in our life. Consistently around May till August, we will be assaulted by awful dimness, as our neighboring nation started to mass-consume their manor wastes during this dry weather period to get out their territory while delivering fertilizers for the following cycle (gee, not a correct way to reuse, huh~).
The hazardous smokes and consuming particles were being transported by the breeze which is blowing towards us, settled in and won’t go anyplace else unless the downpour washes them down. Now and again, the API (Air Pollution Index) can go up to 400 (hazardous) in a specific region. The fog is dusty, smokey and obscuring the clarity of the sky, the most important thing is that it caused eye and respiratory irritation, it is life-threatening especially to the youthful and older person, and those with powerless heart and lungs.
Besides limiting the outdoor activities and switch on air purifiers at home, my BFF and I earnestly required the face mask for our kids to wear. Like most kids nowadays, they have powerless lungs and defenseless respiratory system, the murkiness will affect a great deal on their wellbeing condition. What makes us furious and anxious was that the kid’s size face mask was out of stock in the market. So, I sewed up a storm on this twofold layered face mask recently and parted with some to whom who required them.
So as to share out more so that you can sew your own washable and reusable face mask, I made the example into 3 sizes, small kids (around the age of 3-6, little youngsters (7-12) and Teenage and Adult. Not recommended for child. It is not clinical appraised but rather good enough to sift through those fog particles and awful stench.
