Dollar Store Easter Decor
When cash is low and the desire to have something new is strong, there are two places that bring satisfaction. Number one is the open library. Without spending any cash you can leave there with books, magazines, movies and music. Yes, you need to return them but you can choose items and take them home with you and claim them for a short time. How awesome is that!
The other spot that can satisfy your need to shop is the dollar store. You can choose any item and it is just a buck! It is great for stocking up on cleaning supplies, birthday cards and occasion needs. Is there a better spot when you have to fill Easter Baskets and Christmas Stockings with lots of goodies? Have you at any point glanced around while shopping and realized you can do some quite cool decorating with the items on the shelves? Stroll with me all over the aisles for some minimal effort ideas.
1. Start with the section of dishes. The offerings may change but you can always rely on beautiful and colorful plates. Co-ordinate place settings that will add color to your table for a snappy change. A set of white dishes should be in your assortment. It can be dressed up for a classy table or added to splendid accessories for a refreshing summer look. It looks flawless with your vacation linens. I love plates held tight the wall as art. One looks good in a small territory but if you can drape 3 of them in succession you will get more effect on the wall. They can be the same plate in a repeat look or a mix of three plates that co-ordinate. Remember to get the plate hangers that are usually available in the store.
2. A set of dishtowels hung over a blind pole in a covering fashion make a fast warm valance. Purchase several colors and drape layers for the best look. You could proceed with the look by sewing a couple of together end to end to make a washable table linen. If you don’t have a sewing machine, you can stitch it be hand using the sewing kit you purchase for $1.
