Style a Dough Bowl For Spring and Easter
I messed with my treasures and changed the mixture bowl several times. It seems that anything I put in it looked good. I love this handmade, distressed chives herb marker and my faux chives in a whitewashed earth pot. A rusty old bed spring holding one of my little whitewashed peat pots brimming with moss is also an enjoyment repurposed “spring” decoration. I thought the peat and moss pot could use a little something extra so I made a “#spring” sign using a small espresso stained hang tag.
I also discovered this astonishing rabbit at the same thrift shop just two or multi week ago. Instead of styling the rabbit in the batter bowl, it is bouncing all around the top of the cabinet snacking on various herbs, veggies, and flowers. A sweet little winged animal also flew in to the spring thyme vignette. The awesome resin burlap carrot originated from AC Moore (if you are new to AC Moore, it is a craft store, similar to Michaels.) The carrot also has a hand made look which goes just splendidly with the shabby rabbit. This week my daffodils are in blossom! I picked a couple for the shelf over the faux shelf, at that point I added a couple to my vignette.
