Get some of your home furnishings from one room into another. If you have had the same artwork, for instance, hanging in one room, switch things up a bit by pivoting it to another room for a fresh look in the two areas.
Do a little arranging before you actually do the truly difficult work. It is best to ask yourself and truly break down the way you use or need to use the room, and writing down the needs of the room this way can answer the question of what pieces you may need to procure.
For instance, if you thought you required more storage, another game plan can address the correct size and what kind of storage piece, (a bookcase or chest of drawers) that would be best suited, and where it should be set. It could be the chest of drawers that is not being used in the guests’ bedroom given new life in the family room to hold table games and such.
